While Away a Sunny Day at Sugar Sand Park

Looking to get outdoors before it gets too hot to handle? Spend some time at Sugar Sand Park this weekend! If you’re entertaining kiddos, this park is especially perfect. The first place to head is the science playground. It spans three whole levels of fun. Kids will discover swings and slides, sensory activities, climbing structures, a splash pad, and more. It’s open until sunset, so there’s plenty of time to play. 

No kiddos in tow? No problem! Hit up the nature trails, one behind the playground and the other behind the community center. They each lead you through unique landscapes, flora, and fauna. There are also shaded pavilions to stop for a snack or lunch after exploring. For now, the theater, carousel, science explorium, and field house are closed due to COVID-19. But there’s still plenty of spots for a fun adventure!
