Add a Visit to the Children’s Science Explorium to Your Summer Bucket List

You can never have too many tools in your entertainment arsenal for summertime with the kiddos. One place you need to get on the list? The Children’s Science Explorium in Sugar Sand Park. This complimentary children’s oasis is equipped with tons of exhibits that will get little ones moving, exploring and learning for hours.

For a little extra exploration, grab a challenge sheet when you arrive. The challenge sheet with guide your family through questions surrounding indoor and/ or outdoor exhibits for a chance at a fun prize when it’s all over. If you master these challenges, try your hand at Earthcaching. The museum attendant will give you a GPS location to find and if you succeed you can head back and share what you found for your very own Earthcaching success pin!

The Explorium also offers a variety of summer camp programs, after-school options, Friday night drop-off programs in case you’re in need of a date night and so much more. Their website has a great overview of all they have in store for you and your family.
